By accessing the website, submitting an enquiry, registering for a course, purchasing course access, using an agent coupon code, acting as an approved agent, or accessing the 123 TEFL learning portal, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you should not use the website, submit a form, register for a course, purchase course access, or use the learning portal.
2. About 123 TEFL
123 TEFL provides online TEFL teacher training for learners who wish to develop practical skills and knowledge for teaching English online, abroad, or in local learning environments.
The main course offered is the 123 TEFL – 120 Hour TEFL Certificate.
The course is delivered online through the 123 Global Education Academy learning portal.
123 TEFL may update, improve, restructure, rename, or amend course content, website content, learning materials, downloadable resources, assessment tasks, or administrative processes from time to time.
3. Use of the 123 TEFL Website
The 123 TEFL website is provided for information, promotion, enquiry, student guidance, agent guidance, course registration and general communication purposes.
Website visitors agree not to:
-
misuse the website;
-
copy, reproduce, sell, or redistribute website content without permission;
-
submit false, misleading, abusive, or unlawful information through any form;
-
attempt to interfere with the website, course portal, payment system, or related systems;
-
impersonate another person, student, agent, organisation, or representative;
-
use the website for spam, fraud, unauthorised marketing, or unlawful activity.
123 TEFL reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or block access to any user who misuses the website, forms, course portal, or related services.
4. Accuracy of Website and Course Information
123 TEFL aims to provide accurate and up-to-date information on the website and course portal. However, course information, pricing, structure, access processes, agent processes, certificate wording, and administrative procedures may change from time to time.
Where there is a difference between older promotional material and the current information published by 123 TEFL, the most recent official information issued by 123 TEFL will normally apply.
Students and agents should check current course information before registering or promoting the course.
5. Course Structure
The 123 TEFL – 120 Hour TEFL Certificate is an online, self-paced TEFL teacher training course.
The current course structure includes:
-
13 structured curriculum sections;
-
58 online lessons;
-
quizzes and practical learning tasks;
-
downloadable teaching resources;
-
practical teaching examples;
-
final written reflection assignment;
-
final course completion activities;
-
12 months’ access, unless otherwise stated.
The curriculum may include areas such as:
-
introduction to TEFL and the teacher’s role;
-
how languages are learned;
-
understanding English for teaching;
-
core teaching methodology;
-
teaching reading, writing, listening and speaking;
-
lesson planning and materials;
-
classroom management and learner engagement;
-
teaching different learner groups;
-
online, hybrid and technology-supported teaching;
-
assessment, progress and learner support;
-
professional practice and teacher development;
-
resources and downloadables;
-
final course completion requirements.
123 TEFL may update, add, remove, rename, improve, or reorganise course sections, lessons, tasks, resources, and completion requirements where needed.
6. Course Access
Course access is provided online through the learning portal.
Once registration and payment are completed, access may be granted automatically through the course portal. Learners are responsible for logging in, checking their email, completing the course materials, and following the completion instructions.
Course access is normally valid for 12 months from the date of enrolment, unless a different access period is stated at the time of purchase or registration.
Learners must complete the course within their access period. Extensions may be considered at the discretion of 123 TEFL and may be subject to an administration fee.
7. Student Registration Details
Students must provide accurate registration details.
The student’s full name must be entered exactly as it should appear on the final certificate. This includes correct spelling, order of names, capitalisation, and any middle names where required.
Students and agents are responsible for checking all details before submitting registration and payment.
Incorrect details may affect:
-
course access;
-
email confirmation;
-
account login;
-
password reset;
-
course records;
-
certificate records;
-
certificate issue;
-
certificate verification.
Any changes requested after enrolment, including name corrections, email corrections, certificate details, or student record amendments, may be subject to a £20 administration fee per edit.
8. One Email Address Per Learner Account
Each student should normally be registered using their own correct and active email address.
The learning portal recognises each email address as a unique learner account. Once an email address has already been registered on the portal, the system may not allow another new student registration using the same email address. It may show a message such as “student account already exists” and ask the user to log in instead.
For this reason:
-
the same email address must not be used for multiple students;
-
agents must not use one agency email address for multiple student accounts;
-
students should use a personal and active email address;
-
learners should keep access to the email address used for registration.
If an agent uses an agent-managed email address for a student, the agent is responsible for forwarding all course communication, login information, password reset information, reminders, completion notices, certificate communication, and related updates to the student.
123 TEFL will treat the registered email address as the official communication address for that learner.
9. Passwords and Account Security
Where the registration process requires a password to be created, the person completing the registration must ensure that the password is provided securely to the learner.
Students are responsible for keeping their login details secure.
Agents who create a password for a student must provide the login details to the student securely and promptly after registration.
Students and agents must not:
-
share login details with unauthorised users;
-
allow multiple learners to use the same learner account;
-
sell, transfer, or misuse access;
-
attempt to access another person’s account.
123 TEFL may suspend or cancel access if account misuse is suspected.
10. Payments
Course fees must be paid through the approved payment method or course portal unless otherwise agreed by 123 TEFL in writing.
The applicable course fee will be shown at the time of registration or payment.
Approved agents may be issued with separate payment arrangements, coupon codes, or approved agent access instructions. These arrangements may vary depending on the active agent agreement or approval issued by 123 TEFL.
Prices, payment arrangements, coupon codes, discounts, and agent access conditions may be changed, renewed, replaced, or withdrawn by 123 TEFL at any time for future enrolments.
A price or payment arrangement change will not normally affect students who have already paid and received course access.
11. Agent Coupon Codes
Approved agents may be issued with a private coupon code or payment arrangement to register students through the approved course portal.
Agent coupon codes:
-
are issued only to approved agents;
-
must be kept private;
-
must only be used for genuine student registrations;
-
must not be shared publicly;
-
must not be posted online;
-
must not be sold or transferred;
-
may be limited, suspended, replaced, or withdrawn by 123 TEFL at any time.
Agent coupon codes may be issued by yearly cycle. For example, a code may end with the relevant year, such as -2026.
123 TEFL may update or replace agent codes each year.
Misuse of an agent coupon code may result in cancellation of the code, suspension of agent privileges, cancellation of registrations, or termination of the agent relationship.
12. Complimentary Agent Review Access
123 TEFL may provide approved agents with one complimentary internal review access to help them understand the course, train relevant staff, and promote the course accurately.
Complimentary review access:
-
is for agency familiarisation and staff training only;
-
must not be sold;
-
must not be transferred;
-
must not be shared publicly;
-
must not be used as a paid student enrolment;
-
must not be used to misrepresent course completion by a student;
-
may be withdrawn if misused.
For complimentary review access, the agent should use a staff or agency email address, not a real student email address.
Additional complimentary access is at the discretion of 123 TEFL.
13. Refunds, Cancellation and Digital Course Access
The 123 TEFL course is an online digital learning product and access may be granted automatically after registration and payment.
By completing payment and accessing the course, the learner or agent agrees that course access may begin immediately.
Once a student has been registered, payment has been made, and course access has been granted through the learning portal, the enrolment is considered active.
No refund will be issued after course access has been granted.
This is because the student account, course access, learning record, course materials, assessment pathway and certification pathway are created immediately after registration and payment.
Before completing payment, students and agents must check:
-
student name;
-
email address;
-
country of residence;
-
course selection;
-
agent or partner name, if applicable;
-
payment amount;
-
access requirements;
-
certificate details.
Where a student or agent believes an error has occurred, they must contact 123 TEFL promptly before using the course materials or progressing with the course.
Refunds are not provided for:
-
change of mind after access has been granted;
-
failure to complete the course;
-
lack of time to study;
-
incorrect student details entered during registration;
-
use of the wrong email address;
-
inability to access the course due to user-side technical issues;
-
agent failure to forward login details or course communication to the student;
-
student failure to check email;
-
student failure to complete quizzes, tasks, or assignments;
-
expectation of employment, visa approval, university admission, or external recognition that has not been promised by 123 TEFL.
Any refund, credit, transfer, or exception is entirely at the discretion of 123 TEFL.
14. Course Completion Requirements
To successfully complete the 123 TEFL course, learners must complete the required course activities as stated in the learning portal.
Completion requirements may include:
-
reading and studying course lessons;
-
completing quizzes;
-
completing learning tasks;
-
reviewing downloadable resources;
-
completing final reflection activities;
-
submitting or completing the final written reflection assignment where required;
-
meeting any final completion instructions.
123 TEFL may update completion requirements where needed to maintain course quality, improve learner experience, or support appropriate certification standards.
15. Quizzes, Tasks and Assignments
Quizzes, tasks and assignments are designed to support learning and check understanding.
Learners must complete their own work honestly.
Learners must not:
-
submit another person’s work as their own;
-
copy course answers from other learners;
-
use dishonest methods to complete assessments;
-
sell or share answers;
-
copy, upload, publish, or distribute course materials or assessment content;
-
misuse artificial intelligence tools to avoid personal learning or reflection.
Where academic misconduct, plagiarism, account sharing, or dishonest completion is suspected, 123 TEFL may investigate and may suspend access, refuse certification, require resubmission, or cancel the learner record.
16. Certificate Issue
After successful completion of the course requirements, eligible learners may receive a 123 TEFL – 120 Hour TEFL Certificate.
Certificate issue is subject to:
-
course completion;
-
completion of required quizzes, tasks and assignments;
-
verification of the student record;
-
correct student details;
-
no outstanding payment or administrative issue;
-
compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
Certificates may include digital verification features, QR verification, certificate number, issue date, student name, and course title.
Certificate formats, wording, layout, verification method and issuing process may be updated from time to time.
17. Certificate Name Accuracy
The name entered during registration is used for the student record and certificate.
Students and agents must check the name carefully before registration and payment.
If a certificate has already been prepared, issued, or recorded, changes may require manual administration and may be subject to a £20 administration fee per edit.
123 TEFL may refuse changes that appear fraudulent, misleading, unsupported, or inconsistent with the learner’s identity.
18. Certificate Verification
123 TEFL may provide certificate verification features, such as QR codes or online verification records.
Verification is intended to confirm that a certificate record exists and that the certificate details match the information held by 123 TEFL.
Verification features must not be altered, copied, misused, or presented in a misleading way.
123 TEFL may suspend or amend verification records if a certificate is cancelled, corrected, reissued, or found to have been misused.
19. No Guarantee of Employment or External Acceptance
The 123 TEFL course is designed to support teacher training and professional development.
Completion of the course does not guarantee:
-
employment;
-
teaching work;
-
online teaching contracts;
-
visa approval;
-
immigration acceptance;
-
university admission;
-
employer acceptance;
-
regulatory approval;
-
acceptance by any specific school, government, institution, country, or organisation.
Students are responsible for checking whether the course meets the requirements of any employer, institution, visa process, country, or professional purpose before enrolling.
123 TEFL is not responsible if a third party does not accept the course, certificate, or training for a specific purpose.
20. Agents and Approved Representatives

-
provide accurate course information;
-
avoid misleading claims;
-
register students using correct details;
-
use the student’s own email address wherever possible;
-

keep coupon codes private;
-
not use one email address for multiple students;
-
not promise employment, visas, immigration acceptance, university admission, or guaranteed recognition;
-
not alter 123 TEFL certificates or official documents;
-
not present themselves as staff of 123 TEFL unless authorised in writing.
123 TEFL may suspend or terminate an agent relationship if the agent misuses codes, misrepresents the course, provides false information, fails to support students appropriately, or damages the reputation of 123 TEFL.
21. Agent Representation Certificate
123 TEFL may issue an Agent Representation Certificate to approved agents.
The certificate confirms the agent’s approved relationship with 123 TEFL for the period and purpose stated.
The Agent Representation Certificate:
-
must not be edited or altered;
-
must not be used after approval has ended;
-
must not be used to promote unrelated programmes;
-
must not be used to claim ownership of 123 TEFL;
-
must not be used to make false accreditation or recognition claims.
123 TEFL may withdraw or cancel an agent certificate if it is misused.
